Ingredients: Organic arborio rice, organic onion, organic red and green bell peppers, organic tomato, organic garlic, organic Creole seasoning blend (organic paprika, organic garlic, organic onion, organic black pepper, organic cayenne, organic white pepper, organic lemon peel, organic basil, organic thyme, organic oregano), organic celery, organic jalapeño.
YOU WILL NEED (4 SERVINGS):
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil or grapeseed oil
- ½ pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cubed
- ½ pound smoked andouille sausage, sliced
- 4 cups unsalted or reduced sodium chicken broth
- ½ pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ½-¾ teaspoon sea salt, optional
DIRECTIONS:
- In large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sausage; sauté 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in contents of package and chicken broth. Cover and simmer 15-20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in shrimp the last 5 minutes of cooking. Salt to taste. Makes 4 servings.
