A blend of organic black beans, onions, red and green bell peppers and a blend of chili seasonings . Simmered with ground beef or turkey, tomatoes and beef or chicken broth. Finished with masa harina to give the chili a wonderful flavor and texture.

Ingredients: Organic black beans, organic onion, organic red and green bell peppers, organic cumin, organic ancho chile powder, organic masa harina, organic garlic, organic cayenne, organic oregano.
YOU WILL NEED (4 SERVINGS):
- 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
- 1 (28 ounce) can no salt added crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups unsalted or reduced sodium beef or chicken broth or stock
- ½-¾ teaspoon sea salt, optional
DIRECTIONS:
- Remove masa harina packet; set aside.
- In large saucepan over medium-high heat, cook and crumble beef until no longer pink. Drain.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, broth and contents of package. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 20 minutes.
- In small bowl, whisk together masa harina packet and 1 tablespoon water. Stir into chili; simmer 5 minutes. Salt to taste. Makes 4 servings.
