This quick and easy tomato soup has a little zip to it
and is perfect for dipping grilled cheese sandwiches. Can easily be made
dairy-free and/or vegan with a couple easy swaps.
Ingredients

1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

⅓ cup chopped yellow onion

1 tablespoon Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend

1 (28 ounce) can no salt added crushed tomatoes

1½ cups unsalted chicken bone broth or vegetable stock

1½-2 tablespoons Zesty Italian & Pizza Seasoning Blend

¼-½ teaspoon sea salt, optional
-
1 teaspoon 20-Year Barrel-Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena

⅓ cup half & half or non-dairy milk of choice
Directions
In large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend. Sauté until softened and starting to brown, about 3-5 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes, broth, Zesty Italian & Pizza Seasoning Blend and salt, if desired. Bring to a simmer, stirring frequently.
Simmer 5-10 minutes or until heated through, stirring frequently. Stir in 20-Year Barrel-Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
Using an immersion blender or blender, purée to desired consistency. Stir in half & half.
Notes
Serving Suggestion: Serve with grilled cheese sandwiches.
