Beef flank steak slow cooked in a spicy Asian sauce
and served over rice with fresh veggie toppings of choice.
Ingredients

1 (1½ pound) beef flank steak

½ cup coconut aminos or tamari sauce
-
½ cup unsalted chicken bone broth or stock

Juice of ½ lemon
-
1 tablespoon Blackened Seasoning Blend
-
1 tablespoon Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend

1 tablespoon grated fresh gingerroot
-
2 tablespoons arrowroot powder or cornstarch
-
2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil

2 cups prepared Garlic & Herb Brown Rice or rice of choice

Toppings such as cucumbers, carrots, spinach, kimchi, peanuts, sesame seeds, spicy mayo
Directions
Cut steak in half lengthwise. Slice each half across the grain into ¼-inch slices. Salt and pepper as desired tossing to coat. Place in a 3-quart or larger slow cooker.
In small bowl, whisk together coconut aminos, broth, lemon juice, Blackened Seasoning Blend, Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend and grated ginger. Pour over beef in slow cooker.
Cook on LOW for 3 hours or until beef is very tender, stirring occasionally. In small bowl, whisk together arrowroot powder and sesame oil. Stir into beef and sauce. Cook until thickened.
Serve beef over Garlic & Herb Brown Rice with desired toppings.
