A quick and simple pasta that will elevate your weeknight dinner routine. Use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free option. Use ghee or a vegan butter and omit cheese or use a vegan Parmesan cheese for a dairy-free option.
Ingredients

4 ounces linguine pasta

1 tablespoon butter or ghee
-
1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-
2 teaspoons Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend

⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional

¼ cup dry white wine
-
½ pound (16-20 count) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
Juice of ½ lemon
-
¼ cup grated pecorino romano cheese
-
Fresh ground black pepper
-
Chopped fresh Italian parsley, optional for garnish
Directions
Prepare pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain, reserving ¼ cup pasta water. Place pasta and reserved pasta water back in pan. Set aside.
Meanwhile, in large skillet, heat butter and Extra Virgin Olive Oil over medium-high heat. When melted, add Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend and red chili pepper flakes. Sauté 15-30 seconds.
Add wine and bring to a simmer. Simmer until reduced by about half, about 2 minutes.
Add shrimp and sauté until cooked through and opaque in color, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat. Drizzle with lemon juice and toss to coat. Set aside.
To pan with pasta and reserved pasta water, add cheese and desired amount of black pepper. Toss to coat well. Drizzle with half the sauce from shrimp and toss to coat. Divide pasta among pasta bowls or dinner plates. Top with shrimp, drizzle with remaining sauce and sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
