A classic Latin dish, ground beef simmered with potatoes, tomato, peppers, onions, green olives and Sazón Seasoning Blend. Serve over rice.
Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 cup chopped onion
-
1 green bell pepper, chopped

1 tablespoon Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend

1 pound 90% lean ground beef
-
1 pound yellow-fleshed potatoes, peeled and cut into ½-inch cubes

1 (15 ounce) can no salt added tomato sauce
-
1 cup water
-
1½ tablespoons Sazón Seasoning Blend
-
1 tablespoon Everyday Seasoning Blend
-
½ teaspoon sea salt, optional
-
⅓ cup small Spanish olives, cut in half
-
⅓ cup raisins
-
⅓ cup frozen peas
-
Cooked rice of choice
Directions
In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onions, peppers and Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend. Sauté 4-5 minutes.
Add ground beef to skillet. Cook and crumble until beef is no longer pink, about 5-6 minutes. Stir in potatoes; cook 2-3 minutes.
Stir in tomato sauce, water, Sazón Seasoning Blend, Everyday Seasoning Blend and salt, if desired. Bring to a simmer. Stir in olives, raisins and peas.
Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes. Salt as desired.
Serve over rice.
