Everyone loves a buttery garlic Cheddar biscuit, but the ones you get at the classic seafood restaurant are so salty you can hardly eat them. Our version has reduced the sodium and gives a gluten-free option as well. These are simple to make and just as tasty as the ones in the seafood restaurant. Featuring Culinary Genie Salt-Free Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend.

Ingredients
2½ cups all-purpose flour (we used Sunrise Flour Mill organic heritage white) or all-purpose gluten-free flour
2½ teaspoons reduced sodium baking powder
½ teaspoon sea salt, optional
6 tablespoons cold butter, divided
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon Salt-Free Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend, divided
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and 4 tablespoons cold butter. Using a pastry blender or 2 forks, cut butter into flour until butter is pea sized.
Add cheese, buttermilk and 2 teaspoons Salt-Free Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend. Mix by hand, until just combined. Do not over mix.
Drop by large spoonfuls (about ¼ cup) onto parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Meanwhile, in small microwave-safe bowl, combine remaining 2 tablespoons butter and remaining 1 teaspoon Salt-Free Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend. Microwave 30 seconds or until melted. Stir.
Remove biscuits from oven. Brush tops of biscuits with garlic butter.
