A great fall and holiday dessert for all…no need for separate desserts for those with food intolerances. Everyone will love this apple crisp pie. Don’t be afraid, pile it high when assembling…it will all cook down into the perfect sized pie.
Ingredients

1 cup casava flour, divided

¾ cup gluten-free quick cook oats

¾ cup brown coconut sugar

2½ teaspoons All-Purpose Baking Seasoning Blend, divided

¼ teaspoon see salt, optional

¾ cup vegan butter
-
1 (9-inch) frozen gluten-free pie shell (keep frozen)

5 cups chopped Honeycrisp® apples
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; set aside.
In medium bowl, combine ¾ cup flour, oats, sugar, 1½ teaspoons All-Purpose Baking Seasoning Blend and salt. Mix to combine. Using a pastry cutter or two forks, cut butter into mixture until well combined and resembles wet sand. Set aside.
In another medium bowl, toss apples with remaining ¼ cup flour and 1 teaspoon All-Purpose Baking Seasoning Blend.
Place frozen pie crust on baking sheet. Fill with apples (they will be mounded). Carefully cover apples with flour mixture, packing it into apples.
Bake 60-70 minutes or until golden brown and apples are tender. Remove from oven and let cool.
