This pork has a nice kick of heat, use less Blackened
Seasoning Blend for a milder heat level. Perfect as a main entrée or as the protein
on a salad.
Ingredients
-
2 teaspoons Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend
-
2 teaspoons water
-
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-
1 tablespoon Blackened Seasoning Blend
-
¼-½ teaspoon sea salt, optional
-
1 (1 pound) natural* pork tenderloin
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In small microwave-safe dish, combine Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend and water. Microwave on HIGH 20 seconds. Whisk in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Blackened Seasoning Blend and desired amount of salt. Set aside.
If desired, lightly salt pork tenderloin. Using a fork pierce tenderloin all over. Rub all over with oil mixture. Place on a greased broiler pan or rack in a shallow baking pan.
Bake until internal temperature reaches 150°F on an instant-read food thermometer, about 20-30 minutes. Remove from oven; tent with foil. Let stand 5-10 minutes. Slice.
Notes
*Natural is no enhancement (added sodium water solution).
